Welcome to my site!

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics in the School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences at the University of Texas at Dallas and a Faculty Affiliate with the Georgia Policy Labs. During the 2022-23 and 2023-24 academic years, I will join the Center for Education Efficacy, Excellence, and Equity (E4) at Northwestern University as a Visiting Fellow.

I study the impact of immigration policies on the labor market outcomes of young adults, and the efficacy of school-level programs and peer interactions on the academic achievement of immigrants/refugees and English Learners.

I received a PhD in Economics from Georgia State University where I worked with the Metro Atlanta Policy Lab for Education.
